In today’s world we as well as our organization have to communicate to more people. People who can nicely use foriegn language, along with right mindset and characteristic can attract advantages, opportunities, career growth, and lifestyle more than those who can’t. Today we have tips for improving your language skill for you. Most spoken language in the world by 2015 (other than English) are Mandarin(Simple chinese 中文 or 汉语 ), Spanish(español), Arbic(العَرَبِية‎), Hindi(हिन्दी ), Russian(ру́сский язы́к), Portugese(língua portuguesa), French(français), Japanese(日本語), Germans(Deutsch), Thai(ภาษาไทย), Bengali(বাংলা).

 

1. Have Dictionary

In order to learn a language you have to get some translating tool. Dictionary is a basic tool that you should have, It doesn’t matter that it is a big or small dictionary or it is in paper or in software. Just use the one that you comfortable to use it in everyday life in long-term.

 

2. Watch Movies

Find a way to watch movie that speak in foreign language. It can be a movie from your country or not it doesn’t matter (but for beginner you should choose film that have context that you familar with). You may not understand every word yet these movie often have subtitles in your language which can help you.

 

3. Play Games

Many games that you already play have a function to switch to foriegn language. This is very effective because you have to learn, understand, and apply many words repeatedly in order to beat the game.

 

4. Listen to songs in that language

With song you can listen repeatedly and sing. Thare are many way to play with this like translate a song and listen to it while remembering about the meaning of each word.

 

5. Join language-learning forum

When you are a beginner, people in language learning forum are just like you. You can read the topic, practice using language and ask questions without worry.

 

6. Speak and listen

In your town or community(online and offline) there are people that using that language. You may seek opportunity to practice speaking and listening to that language. This way you get speaking and listening skill.
